The ancient practise of aromatherapy is well known improving perception of the physical and psychological. Our sense of smell is the most primitive of all our senses and is linked to some of the oldest and deepest parts of our brain. When I was sick, I found a healing comfort in fresh Eucalyptus which has so many medicinal qualities - seriously have a Google and see. It’s antibacterial, anti-flammatory and antispasmodic.
A huge bundle of Eucalyptus from a flower stall will cost approximately £15 and the aroma will last on and on for months, long after the leaves dry, so don’t throw it away. For something easier to carry around with me all day, I used Aromatherapy Associates and Neals Yard who offer easy-to-carry preparations like roller balls and miniature sizes for a moment of concentration or balance when it’s needed.
